Q: IP Address on I-Mark dot-peen controller can not be set?

Also there are not mapped controllers. 

A: If RS Linx or other programs can see the controller but you cannot see it with I-Mark this is usually a firewall issue . Each program needs windows permissions to access ethernet devices. CMT recommends the following:


  1. Go into windows firewall & network protection
  2. Select option “Allow an App thru Firewall”
  3. Scroll thru the list and locate I-Mark then issue it has full access.
  4. Re-Launch I-Mark software and try to connect again


*** Note if you have multiple instances/versions of I-Mark installed it will appear multiple times in Firewall settings. I recommend giving each instance full access.***
