Handy Andy – X Axis Returning to Negative (How to Fix)

If the X axis returns to the negative direction or will not mark, but the Y axis works normally, the machine has most likely lost communication with the computer.
This is usually caused by a USB connection issue.
Step-by-Step Fix
Simply turning the machine off and back on will not reset the control board, because the Handy Andy board receives power through the USB cable. The USB cable must be unplugged to reset it.

- Close the Handy Andy software on your computer.
- Unplug the USB cable from the computer or from the Handy Andy machine.
- Wait about 5 seconds.
- Plug the USB cable back in.
- Open the Handy Andy software again
